Considering this is Chris’ second marriage and we are not very traditional, we decided it would be easiest to have a small private ceremony on the beach.

After deciding that we definitely wanted to get married barefoot in the sand, we settled on an island: St. Lucia. St. Lucia is a small but beautiful island 21 miles south of Martinique and 90 miles Northwest of Barbados. It is primarily English speaking but the residents also speak French, Spanish and a native tongue. For more information and photos of St. Lucia visit www.stlucia.org.

We will be married on the beautiful beaches of St. Lucia on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at the Sandals Regency Golf Resort and Spa. This resort is located on the Northwest side of the island in the Castries area. We are very excited to go and relax on the beach and maybe do some scuba diving and golf. The laws of St. Lucia require a three day residency period, so we will be “living” there for three days prior to getting married. So we will basically be having our honeymoon in reverse.
